Is your dog sitting at home waiting for you to walk
through the door, so you will play with them?

Does your dog have destructive behaviors such as
digging, chewing or barking while you are gone?

We have the answer!  Your dog needs play time
with other dogs!  Many dogs are bored during the
day, which causes bad behaviors.  They want to
be part of a pack - playing, running and being a
DOG!

Dog Daycare is like a day at the park with
supervision!  Drop your dog off for the day and we
provide a
fun, stimulating environment where your
fur kid can play, strengthen their
doggie social
interaction skills, and practice basic obedience.
Staff is trained to watch for conflicts between
dogs and separate them as needed.

Our philosophy is:
        dogs need
social interaction with other
dogs so they are part of a "pack" and
can learn how to play with other dogs
        correctly

play and activity is important for

physical and mental stimulation for dogs
        of all ages.

We provide a great environment for play including:

     safe, secure indoor environment

     year-round climate controlled

     rubber flooring for traction

     indoor potty pit
w/hydrant

Playing is fun, but can be over stimulating, so mid-
day is
rest time.  We lock our doors between
12:30p.m. and 2:00 p.m. for uninterrupted nap
time.  Full day dogs are tired from all the morning
play, so they normally lay down to rest.  We dim
the lights and turn on relaxing music.  This time
allows the dogs to rest and get ready for a
rambunctious afternoon playing with their furry
friends from the morning.

After playing all day, Mom or Dad picks up fido
and everyone is happy for a nice, relaxing evening
at home.

Playhouse Pooch of the Month
June, 2008

Mika, a 1-year old Akita-German
Shepherd mix comes to play three days a
week and has a great time.

Her best friend is Koa,  and as soon as she
comes into the play area, she looks for
him.  Mika started daycare at the young
age of 5 months to make sure she was
well-socialized due to her breed.  She is
doing awesome and has learned many play
and social skills along the way.

Since turning one year-old last month, she
has become quite the affectionate love-bug!
She likes to play, then come over and get
her petting and kisses from our staff.
